What got you into music, and if you had not gotten into music what would you be doing today? CJ Jones (guitarist/vocalist): I got my first guitar when I was 7 and was performing by the time I was 9. I knew early on that I didn’t want to perform as a solo artist - I wanted to be in a band with like-minded musicians. I grew up in a home where music was always present – a lot of Alice in Chains, Sound Garden, and Pearl Jam. The first time I heard Tool was a revelation for me – the start of a relationship with progressive music.
