Hi Serene! Thank you for speaking with me today!

You recently released your song, 'Lovely'! Will you tell us about how everything happened for that project?

Lovely was such a fun project to create! I got the beat from this amazing producer who goes by ProdbyVenis! He messaged me on Instagram and said that he wanted to show me some of his stuff and I happily agreed. As soon as I heard the beat for Lovely I knew I wanted to be on that track! He sent it over and I wrote the lyrics and actually recorded it in my bedroom! Once I’d finished recording the vocals, we sent it off to an engineer that I found on tiktok. He actually posted a before and after mastering video that blew up! Next thing I knew I was trying to get Lovely out as soon as possible! It was so crazy! People were messaging me like crazy asking when it was going to drop and I was shocked because I wasn’t planning to release it for another month so I didn’t have anything prepared yet for the release. It’s the fastest I’ve ever put out a song but I’m so glad that I did! I wouldn’t change anything about the crazy way this all came together! 

How has it been having the song out in the world?

It’s amazing! I have a couple songs that came out before this one but this has definitely had the best response. It makes me excited that people are really enjoying the song and sharing with their friends and family! It definitely pushes me to want to put out more music! 

What has been keeping you inspired lately?

I recently moved to Los Angeles so I’ve been inspired by the move and how different everything is now that I’ve changed locations! 

Do you have a dream project that keeps you motivated to keep working? 

I’m motivated by the growth in fans that I get each time that I release a song! Reading the responses and messages that people send me about how the song has impacted them really just makes me want to keep pushing so that one day I can go on tour and meet them in person! 

What have you been working on lately? Any projects coming up?

I’ve got two new producers that I’m working with and I’m really excited about what we’ve been working on!
