What got you into music, and if you had not gotten into music what would you be doing today?
I have loved music since I was about 3, it was always something I enjoyed. It always made my energy better even when I'm sad so it was an escape and it still is. If not, music I would’ve been into anything related to art.
What do you like to do when you are not playing music and how does that influence your creativity?
Writing in a journal helps release anything I hold back inside and helps me become a better songwriter.
How long has music been your career?
Professionally it’s been 3 years.
Where are you based out of and how did that influence your music?
I’m based in Arizona. It's helped me be open to a variety of music because music that people listen to is so diverse.
Tell me about the best and worst shows you have played.
To be honest, I haven’t played too many shows, but I'm hoping to.
Tell me about your favorite venue to play at, and do you have any places you want to play that you have not already?
I don’t have one in particular.
If you could play any show with any lineup, who would be on the ticket?
It would be SZA.
What is some advice that you would give to someone who is just getting into music?
Make sure you have passion for it. It's a lot of time-consuming and work you have to put in.
If you could go back in time and give yourself advice, what would it be?
Don’t be afraid of being unique.
Of your songs which one means the most to you and why?
"Right Now "because I was good within myself when I wrote it.
Which songs are your favorite to play and which get requested the most?
What is the creative process for you, and what inspires you to write your music?
It’s based on experience. I've been through a lot of stuff so when I'm writing I like to reflect how I'm feeling or what I've been through.
What kinds of messages do you like to get across in your music?
Self-love and learning from experience.
Do you ever have disagreements when collaborating and how do you get past them?
I’ve been fortunate to be with people who share a similar perspective.
What are your plans for the future, and do you have anything that you want to spotlight that is coming up?
I have an upcoming “CareLess” EP that will be released on June 16th.
