What got you into music, and if you had not gotten into music what would you be doing today?
The love to influence people in a positive manner. A band called Mr. Greengenes was a major influence for me.
What do you like to do when you are not playing music and how does that influence your creativity
I flip homes as a full time career. I love to golf, hunt, fish, camp, float rivers. Do the next thing next. No agenda.
How long has music been your career?
4 years as a band
Where are you based out of and how did that influence your music
Cumberland MD. Small town. No bands locally do what we do so we influenced many quickly.
Tell me about the best and worst shows you have played.
Best shows have been lately as a 5 piece. Adding keys has made us full. Worst shows have been in the beginning. 2018 we tried to run before we walked. Time and watching what pros do by pros have put us in the high level position.
Tell me about your favorite venue to play at, and do you have any places you want to play that you have not already
Our favorite current venue would be The Renegade in Arlington VA. We have a professional coach on the staff who has made us grow exponentially. We would love to play the East coast beach circuit. Dewey Beach Delaware (Starboard, Bottle n Cork, Rusty Rudder, North Beach) Ocean City Maryland (Secrets, Fagers Island) just to name a few.
If you could play any show with any lineup, who would be on the ticket?
Mr. GREENGENES, 21 Pilots, Original Go Go Gadget
What is some advice that you would give to someone who is just getting into music?
Advice...walk before you run. Listen to the venues. The venues see the good, the bad, and the Ugliest of shows. Empower your fans. Be personable. Listen to your fans. Take suggestions from the fans. They make you or break you.
If you could go back in time and give yourself advice, what would it be?
Practice 6 months longer to get started. Have the best equipment to get started.
Of your songs which one means the most to you and why?
We cover many peoples' music. Gavin Degraw...I dont wanna be...it makes me move regardless of my mood. Mr greengenes....mission remix 02'....this group never published a record but this song would have been a chart toppe.
Which songs are your favorite to play and which get requested the most?
Gavin degraw....I dont wanna be is my favorite to perform. Most requested..
Fall out boy...sugar going down
The killers...mr brightside
Country roads...we dont cover it
What is the creative process for you, and what inspires you to write your music?
We do not write our own music. Strictly covers.
Do you ever have disagreements when collaborating and how do you get past them?
We as a band know if something is going to work or not when we start trying to play as a group. So no. We all quickly agree.
What are your plans for the future, and do you have anything that you want to spotlight that is coming up?
Our plans are to have a manager who can get us where we can influence the biggest crowds with our style.
