Hey, thank you for coming back for another interview!

BLARE - Absolutely! Thank you!

MIA – I think this is our first time but would love to come back another time after you fall in love with our music!

What is new since the last interview?

BLARE - Many things, we are writing new songs to record before the end of the year and we’ve been playing some kick ass shows.

MIA – We put out a single, “Monkey King”, and will have another single out in mid-July, “Necron 99” and one more in August called, “For All My Friends”, before our EP release in September.

What has been inspiring you lately?

MARK - Relationships, nature, blackened thrash metal.

BLARE - Working on the new stuff has been very inspiring, I love writing and making new stuff up with my bandmates. Very creative bunch of people to work with. Also, it’s summertime! Lots of bands to check out without freezing my butt off!

MIA – We are a new band and have been in the rehearsal room creating new music for a while now so it’s been inspiring to play out and get positive responses from people hearing us for the first time. I am looking forward to more of the same when releasing our recording songs out into the world.

CHASE - New music has been inspiring me lately, our own and other bands, drumming, drums. New Fu Manchu album is awesome.

Do you have any new singles, videos, or albums out that you would like to tell me and your fans about?

Mark - We have a lyric video single released, and we have our EP release slate for September 2024.

BLARE – “Monkey King”, our first single just came out, “Necron 99” is set to release in July. “Necron 99”, for me, was a sleeper song, it was, “well where is this one going…” But it turned out to be one of my favorites. It’s heavy, droney, hard and one big hell of a riff. After that, in August, “For All My Friends”, will be released. It almost edges on poppy (bad bad word) it’s a slap in the face with the leads and the vocals are amazing.

MIA – We have a lyric video out for “Monkey King” and will have ones out for the other singles when they come out as well. Look out for “Necron 99” in July and “For All My Friends” in August. Music will be available on all the platforms. Our self-titled EP is coming out 9/7 and we are having a record release party and show at Nightingale’s in Burbank. MIA – We are a new band but have a longstanding history with each other that comes through in our music. The band is a collective of four members and all our experiences, creativity and talent, unedited. I would describe the sound as heavy music influenced by a wide range of musical styles, from doom metal to hardcore/post punk and beyond. You won’t be disappointed in checking us out!
