Hello there, nice to have you on Volatile Weekly! What got you into music, and if you had not gotten into music, what would you be doing today?
Clint ( Voice)- Glad to speak with ya. My Dad got me into music he use to have parties in the backyard in summer and play 50, 60;s Rock, Pop, Surf, and Doo-wop Music. If not for music I would have been a tech nerd no questions asked. I work in IT now.

What do you like to do when you are not playing music, and how does that influence your creativity?
Clint ( Voice)- Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Horror Collectibles, Go to 304 Comicons a year. Love History and Alien stuff too. Pretty easy to see how this influences the music I do,

How long has your band been around?
Clint ( Voice)- Ronwe has been around about 2 yrs now. But Ryan and I create music under Idiot Robot ( Heavy Indie Rock), Cat Dick Inc ( Noisy Grindcore) and Until the Sky Dies ( Sludge Death Doom) we both Sing and play Guitar, Bass, synths

Where are you based and how did that influence your music?
Clint ( voice) I lived in Phoenix AZ for over a decade, Then moved to FL for a year, and now in Forth Worth Texas. I don’t think where I am influenced me. It’s the people I’ve toured, recorded and Wrote with that has done that.

How did you come up with the name of your band and what does it mean to you?
Clint(Voice)- Ryan the other guy in the band and I . We’ve known each out going on 35+ yrs and I wasn’t even supposed to be in this. Ronwe is a Demon from the ancient time and Ryan wants to do an extreme Thrash meets Power metal thing. I hear the music we were working on other projects as well and said I can Do vocals for this if you want and Ronwe as is now born… To me, Ronwe means dark expression and the occult side of things.

Tell me about your most memorable shows.
Clint ( Voice)- Ronwe has never played live so that is not something I can offer at this time.
I can say I was in a Martial Industrial / Noise band called As All Die for 14 yrs and we did play an event in Mid State MA, And the Church of Satan came and supported it as they were fans of my band. We had a few hundred there and was a very interesting event.

What is your favorite venue to play at, and do you have any places you want to play that you have not already?
Clint ( Voice)- My fave place to ever play was in St Louis Mo it was called the Round . Great crowd and sound it was with my Old band As All Die as well.

If you could play any show with any line-up, who would be on the ticket?
Clint ( Voice) Emperor, Devin Townsend, Dan Swano and the Beach Boys...
Ryan I would love to play guitar in the Bangles and Britney Spears and be the guitar tech for Iron Maiden and be the guy who screams at Megadeth at every show I don't know not much of an answer but I think my real answer would be playing maracas for King Diamond
What is some advice that you would give to someone who is just getting into playing in a band and some advice that you would give to your younger self?
Clint ( Voice)- Play the music you want don’t change cause some label or manager says so. Send the music to everyone and anyone that will listen. Honestly, its gotten me signed to over a dozen labels, touring the world and doing something they can never take away from you. Also, there is no shame in releasing it yourself and find a good PR person it does wonders as well.

If you could go back in time and give yourselves advice, what would it be?
Clint ( Voice)- Accept to play bass for the guys that became Monster Magnet lol

Of your songs which one means the most to you and why?
Clint ( Voice)- Hive Mind is the one that I feel is the most expressive of us and shows what we really can do.
Ryan Don't have a favorite I'm just happy I'm lucky to do what I do
Which songs are your favorite to play and which get requested the most?
Clint ( Voice)- How are we Metallica or Slayer? Next question...
What is the creative process for the band, and what inspires you to write your music?
Clint ( Voice)- Ryan writes some music. I let him not if I want to sing on it or not and sometimes we rework it musically till my voice goes down. Music is fickle it can be a smell, a movie, a book. Something I see and sparks my creative output.
Ryan I have no clue what inspires my music but I sit down and I just come up with things and I have fun doing it and it's all about having as much fun as possible I can't take it serious because if I do the magic won't flow and I always want to know what the next thing is coming out when I sit down at the computer you turn on Pro Tools and just let the magic happens sometimes it's a winner sometimes it's a loser but that's okay when you just let it come naturally it will be good
What kinds of messages do you like to get across in your music?
Clint ( Voice)- The Aliens are here already and in connection with Dark forces its already too late
Ryan Sometimes hate sometimes Love sometimes silliness I love when the music tells its own story and you just have to listen to understand
Do you ever have disagreements in your band, and how do you get past them?
Clint ( Voice)- That is common. Passionate artists are always that way. We work on something different, walk away for a bit , go get some food or watch a move or tv and try again another time.
Ryan Yes just don't take it serious have fun this is music it doesn't matter what it is when you sit down and you're writing whatever it is you're writing look at both sides and always come to a compromise you don't have to be headstrong and I be a jerk but all you really have to do is just listen open your ears relax and when you're recording it's amazing it's fun it's shouldn't take you to a hateful place
What are your plans for the future, and do you have anything that you want to spotlight that is coming up?
Clint ( Voice)- Ronwe will have at least one more album as this was fun. Thanks to Music Records in France for Releasing it and Valentine and Mattias for Signing and The amazing artwork & The Metallist PR ( getting the word out ). Look for our new band Cat Dick Inc ( Ugly Noisy Grindcore) coming soon
Ryan Working on an old project called Dead dark slide that's going to have a cool power metal vibe to it can't wait to see where it goes
