What got you into music, and if you had not gotten into music what would you be doing today? Mary: I fell in love with music when I was very small, and learned and performed it in many capacities throughout my childhood. But it probably wasn’t until late middle school, when my piano teacher and the music director of the folk choir I sang in at church told me I should consider a career in music that I really started to think it might be for me. If I hadn’t ended up in music, I might have gone into acting or become a therapist.
